As I wondered dreaming trough these lands
These beauteous images I embrace.
Visions conjured by angelic hands
I am captured by their glowing grace.
Oh how did I stand both far and near,
Allow my eyes to stray at leisure
My attention caught from there to here.
Absorbed by colour and by pleasure
In fun of life red and blue compete
with fascinating fearlessness
I am powerless to move my feet
Not a single brush stroke is expressionless.
Enter the garden of red and green
Where my pupils dilate in rapture and bliss
This painting captures a joyful scene
Where spring arrives with magical kiss
Here I stop at heavens gate
Where the artist does not moderate
In this scene red and yellow mate
In the greatest jewel of all
These colours given form and weight
By a light that's destined to enthrall

In my soul desire sings
To whom shall I give? I still don't know
